Seriously though, the female presenters were quite lovely and a couple even seemed like they played a video game or two.

Very cool. Logically I know that there are way more female gamers out there now and that plenty of females are in the video game industry. I notice that a lot more games have a female protagonist but I couldn't shake the feeling that the companies were just thrusting women into the spotlight to go "LOOK! WE HAVE GIRLS! WE AREN'T SEXIST AT ALL!"
True, I'm sure they were definitely doing that.
